Inviting Hub Guests / Emergency Contacts

If a parent has any other additional contacts that would like authorisation to pick up their child, they should be added as a Hub Guest by the parent. 

There is no way for centres to add these on behalf of parents and any emergency contacts that are in the child's profile will not automatically be added. 

 

What is a Hub Guest and how does it work? 

A Hub Guest is an additional contact, other than the Parent/Guardian for a child in Xplor, that will be able to sign in and out children from childcare.

When a parent adds a Hub Guest, they will receive an email and should set a password. 

Hub Guests do not have access to the Home App, they will be able to use the hub to sign the child out. 

 

Invite a Hub Guest

Parents are able to invite a new hub guest to be able to sign in and out their children from childcare.

To do this,

  1. Parents should open Home App or Web 
  2. Select Account
  3. Select Hub Guests
  4. Select + in the top right corner 
  5. Select Next 
  6. Add their details 
  7. Send invite
  8. Hub Guests then receive an email and should create a password

When inviting a new hub guest:

  • Email is required and must be in a standard format (ie [email protected])
  • First name is required
  • Last name is required
  • Address is required.
