Account Upgrade: Office (Admins) - What do I need to know?

The Account Upgrade was released on Friday, 6 August at 12am AEST

One email can be used across multiple centres

For new and current enrolments, parents/guardians can use an email previously used at another Xplor enabled centre.

Similarly, for educators who have existing Xplor accounts, either as an educator, parent or Hub Guest, they'll be able to use the same email address.

Parent/Educator Profiles: Contact Information vs Login Information

As a part of the update, Parent and Educator profiles have had a slight change.

Contact Information

In this section, the email address and phone number here will be used for:

  • Receiving emailed statements
  • Comms Centre posts and SMS
  • Bad debtor notifications
  • Welcome Emails

Login Information

In this section, the email address and phone number here will be used for:

Parents/Guardians

    • Signing into Home App/Web
    • Signing in their child at the Hub

Educators

    • Signing into Playground App/Web
    • Signing in their shift at the Hub

A parent has asked me to:

Update their email (remove the "+1")

  1. Navigate to Profiles > Parent/Guardian > Into the relevant profile > Under 'Contact Information' change the email to their preferred one > Click "Save" at the bottom of the screen. 
  2. This will send the Parent/Guardian a "Link Account" email that, with a single click, will allow them to merge accounts with the same email together.

Note: The above process will also work for educators who want to use the same email address across multiple centres/Xplor accounts.
For example, An educator, who is also a parent, can now use the same email for both accounts. 

Help them log into Home or use the Hub with a PIN

  • Navigate to Profiles > Parent/Guardian > Into the relevant profile > Under 'Login Information', confirm the email/mobile in this section is what the parent is using to log/sign in. 
  • They can reset their password and PIN via login.myxplor.com 
  • If this area is blank, request the parent to login into home.myxplor.com. This will send them an email prompt requesting them to update their account information.

Note: Temporarily, if the email in the login information section needs to be changed. Please navigate to support.ourxplor.com and click the orange chat bubble to submit your change of email request.

Playground App Users

For Playground App Users, prepare by downloading the most recent Playground App. 2.10.0 or higher.
