Home App: Parent Content
Parents will now be able to view a library of educational content about their child's development.
The videos range across 9 themes for parents to browse:
Growth & Development
First-Aid & Safety
Dads / Partners
Parenting & Work.
The content will be browsable from the learning tab of the Home App and will include a “Recommended” tab where parents can view content recommended by their child’s educators (see below).
We’ll soon be making substantial additions to the available content provided by expert content-creators from around the world. This release will be the first of many great additions we are making to Home App that will help centres further engage with parents outside of care, as well as assisting parents to learn more about parenting best practices from vetted & trusted sources.
Playground: Related Content Recommendations
Educators will now be able to recommend expert content to parents when creating observations. Educators can select a piece of content from the library or use the “Recommended” tab to attach content that is automatically filtered based on the learning outcome they have tagged on the observation.
Educators will need to use a learning outcome from the EYLF or the NQS frameworks in order to access the automatically filtered content. Once the educator has attached media to the observation, it will appear on the observation for parents and in the “Recommended” section of the Learning tab in the Home App.
Office: Debtors at Date
Admins will be able to run a report in Office showing all debtors on a specific date.
