Please note that only primary carers will be able to see financial information and only parents enrolled at DebitSucess-enabled centres will have access "Pay Now" and "Setup Direct Debit" menu items.
Finance Screen Overview
Click a number on the tabs below to find out more about the corresponding section of the Finance screen pictured above.
Tapping this circle in the top right of your screen opens the "Centre Switcher" and allows you to switch between the centres attached to your account, if there is more than one.
This section shows your amount due. If the section is coloured green and the Amount Due number is negative (-), your account is In Credit and you don't need to make any payments on the current billing period. If the section is coloured orange and the Amount Due number is non-negative, your account is Owing and you may need to make payment via Pay Now or a scheduled direct debit payment. Always talk to your centre first if you are confused about this amount. To see your Account Summary (more on that here) you can simply tap this card to be taken to the screen.
Tapping "Pay Now" allows you to initiate an adhoc Pay Now payment to pay your account balance. Note that you can only make a Pay Now payment if you have an amount due. Get more information on adhoc Pay Now payments here. Note: Only parents at centres with the DebitSuccess payment gateway can access this feature.
Tapping "Setup Direct Debit" allows you to setup or configure your scheduled direct debit payment method by adding bank or card details. More info on Direct Debit Setup can be found here. Note: Only parents at centres with the DebitSuccess payment gateway can access this feature.
Tapping "Show Statement" will take you to the statement view (see below).
This section details your child care subsidy percentage. If the subsidy percentage is 0%, an error message will display advising you of potential next steps to rectify the issue.
Tapping "See CWA Agreement" will open a web browser and load the current CWA agreement attached to the child. If the CWA agreement has not yet been signed, the parent will be able to sign it from this screen.
Tapping the "Call Centre" button will open your Phone App with the centre phone number pre-filled.
For Australian users, tapping the "Call CentreLink" button will open your Phone App with the subsidy hotline for Centre link pre-filled.
Tapping "Help Centre" will take you to the Finance section of our help centre. (Hint: you're reading it now!)
Statement Screen Overview
The statement view shows the current week, with the date range being able to be changed. You will be able to see the opening balance at the start of the date range, the fees incurred during this period, estimated subsidy and total amount due. If the date range is for weeks after your subsidy has been processed by the government, actual subsidy will be displayed instead of estimated.
Changing Date
Pressing on the date range will allow you to select. Only Mondays may be selected.
Downloading Detailed Statement
Pressing the download button on the top right of the screen will download a PDF of the detailed transactions which have occurred during the specified date range.
Finance/Statement Screen Errors
Non-primary Carer User
If the parent user is a non-primary carer, they will not see any financial information and will instead see an error message advising them of this.
Unstable Connection
If your device has an unstable connection to the internet, an error message will display and no financial data will load. Pressing back and returning to the financial tab will resolve the issue.
No Financial Information
If there is no existing transaction data, an error message will display.
