As a school administrator the best thing to do when a parent reports experiencing an error is:
- Determine what web browser they were using. If they were using internet explorer, ask them to try using Chrome or Safari to see if it makes a difference. Sometimes parents use very old versions of Internet Explorer that are not supported.
- If this does not make a difference, gather the following information & email to email@example.com:
- What browser were they using?
- What device was it on? ie. smartphone, tablet, desktop
- What operating system was it, if known? ie. Windows 10, iOS 11.4
- Steps taken to receive that error
- Date & rough time this occurred
