CCS Reminders
CCS Estimates
Estimates for CCS use the government's entitlements API, which requires parents to have an active CWA which is in a 'confirmed' status.
A confirmed status means the CWA is both approved in Office and Confirmed in MyGov after taking the Child Care Subsidy assessment.
Any parent who has not yet confirmed their CWA in MyGov will not be eligible to receive subsidies and will also not have estimates calculated.
Please Note: CCS estimate values include the government's 5% withholding value for applicable parents. All CCS % figures are displayed without the government's 5% withholding value.
Parent Portal CWA Communications
Please Note: We will not be emailing parents to ensure they approve the CWA in the parent portal.
We ask that services communicate with parents to visit the parent portal once they are happy with both the fees and bookings for each CWA.
This Week's Features
Add a new CCS Enrolment
Office now allows you to create a new enrolment of CWA, RA, OA, and ACCS child wellbeing directly from within our CCS user interface.
To create a new CCS enrolment for a child navigate to Government Rebates > Government Enrolments and find a child for whom you would like to create a new enrolment.
You can now select the child and scroll down to "+ New CCS Enrolment" where you will see a list of available enrolment types.

Aged Debtor Report Enhancements
As a result of the transition to CCS and the new accounting ledger released earlier this year, We are releasing some updates the aged debtor report to better capture our move to a locked period accounting format, and to provide more stability to our reporting.
Outstanding CWA Approvals Report
You can now view a list of outstanding CWA parent approvals in report format to easily determine which parents need to approve their CWAs from the Parent Portal in Office.
To view this report, navigate to Government Rebates > Government Registrations and finding the "Outstanding CWAs" download link on the top right corner.
New Accounts Popup Design
Last week the old accounts popup was updated for CCS to help administrators better understand parent accounts.
This week the popup receives a new design with new features including:
- The ability to view past primary carer's accounts from the selector in the top right hand corner.
- The ability to see an even more detailed account view including CCS subsidy payments.

Please Note: The account popup transactions listing no longer displays specific subsidy details such as CCB% and CCR as seperate line items. You can still see these details in the parent statement PDFs.
You can access the new accounts popup from the same location as the old account popup Financial > Accounts > Statement.
Upcoming Releases
New CCS Navigation
You may notice some changes to the menu. This is to facilitate the move to CCS and provide access to both CCS and CCMS in one area of the application.
As well as new menu changes, you will also be seeing new menu items appearing. Don't panic, we will announce each change individually and explain exactly what the change is and how it might impact you.
