Department Of Human Services Carers

Children at risk may be allocated a carer from the Department of Human Services. The carer may be responsible in dropping and picking up the child from the service, below are listed options to be compliant with the Department of Human Services Carer signing a child in and out and recording an attendance.

If the child is under split care, with multiple guardian responsible for paying the account, find more information on Split Care here.

There are multiple options when adding in a Department Carer. Choose the option most relevant to the situation.

Option 1

Children at risk allocated a carer from the Department of Human Services can use the Vistors Log on the Hub to document their arrival and departure times from the service and can include Full Name, Department Details, WWCC, and any other relevant information.

The administrator can review these Vistors Logs on the Hub to manually enter an attendance against the child booking in Master Roll.

Option 2

Children at risk allocated a carer from the Department of Human Services can be added as a Parent/Guardian if the individual will be consistent in collecting and dropping off the child.

(if the child has multiple carers, they can be added as parent/guardian in the child's profile to complete sign in/out.)

Option 3

Children at risk allocated a carer from the Department of Human Services can be added as a parent/guardian and the Department of Human Service can invite carers as Xplorers to complete sign in and out on the Hub
