Privacy is Xplor's first priority, especially in an online environment.
We believe in telling you up front exactly what is going to happen to your personal information and asking for your permission before you share it with us.
When we do ask to use your data (e.g. when filling out a parent or child profile), it is to provide you with a better user experience and we do not share it with anyone outside of the system and even people within the system have not got access to all information.
We do not store any billing information on Xplor and have no visibility over your bank accounts or bank details. These are all stored within your services trusted payment gateway.
Xplor secures your data by encrypting it when it's sent over the Internet, storing it in an encrypted format when kept on servers, and using secure tokens for authentication. Not only will your account require passwords, but administrators, educators and parents all have different access levels. With permissions being able to be turned on and off across all these accounts.
This means that your data is protected from unauthorised access while it is being transmitted to your devices and when it is being stored in Xplor. We use a minimum of 128-bit AES encryption—the same level of security employed by major financial institutions—and never provide encryption keys to any third parties.
