If a child has had an incident at your service, you can send a notification to the parent/s to let them know.
- Log into the Xplor app
- Tap on child select
- Tap on the relevant child
- Tap on the Health icon
- Use the + to create a new health event
- Follow the prompts i.e. health event, treatment, description, date, time and photo
- Click on save
This will save to the child's timeline and notify the parent
This is a great way to communicate with the family that there was an incident and it has been attended to in accordance with Regulation 86
The approved provider of an education and care service must ensure that a parent of a child being educated and cared for by the service is notified as soon as practicable, but not later than 24 hours after the occurrence, if the child is involved in any incident, injury, trauma or illness while the child is being educated and cared for by the education and care service.Penalty: $2000.
